Day in the life of Ren
Mews, I am Ren. I am a furry
big black cat! I am 10 human years old. I am the ruler of the household and I
have a furry well trained human bean to wait on me paw and tail. I also make
sure that my bean gets up every day to go out and make tuna money
My day starts out about 5am when I wake up feeling hungry. I then proceed to jump on my beans head to get her to get up and feed me. Feeding me on time is furry important you nose! I fink that I should always get to eat first before anyone else! I'm the Boss Cat!
After eating, I like to go sit in front of the big window
and see what is going on out in the world. I see some furry big birds out there
that look mighty tasty! I wonder if the human would let me out to catch one tee
hee.
Now for some reason, that silly sisfur of mine Boo, likes
to bug Nutmeg also known as Momma Kitty. When bean got her, she had just had a
litter of five. Sad to mew that they all died. Anyway, back to Boo, for some
reason she just has this thing about picking on Momma Kitty. In the middle of
the night when the bean is trying to sleep, Boo goes over to where Momma Kitty
is and just starts pestering her! Momma Kitty then gets all upset and starts
growling and hissing at Boo. I don't know why she just doesn't paw slap Boo
upside the head! She is much bigger then Boo is. Boo is just a tiny little
thing! All this noise wakes up the bean and she starts yelling at Boo. Boo will
stop for a few minutes and then start at it again. This makes the bean crazy.
The bean has to get up early to go out and make tuna money so needs to get some
sleep!
Furry soon, there won't be anymore of that icky
white stuff on the ground. I can't wait till it is nice and warm so I can go
outside! There are lots of places to go find nice yummy things like mice,
lizards and birds.
I just found out that my bean is going to get a
"Taco Dog"!!! Meow fur the life of me, I don't know why bean wants a dog! That
is just too much! This little dog's name is Rose. She is furry tiny, only weighs
5 pounds or so. She was rescued from a puppy mill. The nice bean that has been
fostering her is coming to do a home visit. If bean is approved then Rose will
get to come live with us. I guess I'd better be on my best behavior.
Well, we
were approved to adopt Rose and she has been with us for about 8 months or so.
She still is very shy and frightened of people. She wasn't treated very well at
that nasty puppy mill place. It really is sad that there are people in the world
that care only for their own profit and have no respect for life. Every time I
look at Rose, it just breaks my heart to think about what she has been through.
My bean had to do a Power Point presentation for a class she was taking.
She did it on Rose and puppy mills. Poor bean couldn't get through it without
shedding a few tears.
Well some
major changes have taken place. My poor human bean got laid off from her job. It
was because of a company merger. So, to make things a bit easier while being on
unemployment, my human bean moved us all back to Santa Barbara and we are
staying with another human bean that my bean has known for years. Doing this
really cut down expenses so it will be easier for my human bean to take care of
all of us while looking for a new job. I must meow that it is furry nice to be
back where it is warm and near the "Big Water again. I am looking forward to new
adventures and stories to meow about.

everfuryone! Its been a while since I pawed anything here. It has been a furry
eventful year. After my human bean got laid off, we made the long drive from
Colorado back to California. And I meow you, what a long drive that was! Being
that it was winter, bean was concerned about getting through the mountains but
the roads were good and it didn't snow. It took about a day and a half to to get
to Santa Barbara. We got in about 800. The first thing my bean did in the
morning ( after feeding all of us of course) was run down to the big water.
Every morning my human goes running on the beach. I fink she be crazy although, I wouldn't mind chasing some of them big birds! I bet they be tasty.
Anymeow, we have settled down into our new temporary home. We have a nice room of our own and our own bathroom. Human bean got a job after 3 months of looking. It will bring home the tuna money until bean can find a job that she really wants. bean hopes that sometime mid to late next year we can get our own place again.
I had a
furry wonderful Catmas! My long time fur friend Ebony sent me the furry most
wonderful present! It is diss fuzzy thing dat hangs from a stick and bean makes
it move and jump all over dee place! Ice like to pounce on it and smack it with
my paw. Ice also got catnip too. Dat Ebony dee best I meow!
